Here it is again a little closer.

tokyoplastic: A while back I created a website that kick started my exploration and love of character design, it was called tokyoplastic. A decade on and I am still exploring with my creative partner Sam. Together we work in animation as directors and have been lucky enough to collaborate with some insanely talented people who have helped us shape the crazed protagonists for our films. Our projects always begin with a script then it’s straight into character development, it can take a while to make something fit and many of course don’t make the grade “it’s just not appropriate to sell breakfast cereal to kids” they say! A shame and a waste but now these unwanted oddities are starting to clutter my hard drive and it’s about time I set them free. Not so much a blog, more a museum of lost souls a random collection of our character work. Some are dug up from failed pitches others are unfinished ideas that sit on our shelves, there is development work and experimentation as well as sketches on beers mats and laptops. Work from us and many others we have had the privilege of collaborating with over the years I present to you the short haired albino pug and other strange beasts.
