Dynalunch
As a creative you spend as much time as you can perfecting your art, as a director most of your time is spent perfecting and nurturing the talent around you. I have desperately been trying to learn zbrush but finding the time to have a clear run at it is something else. This is a quick one hour sculpt with dynamesh which I put together over lunch.

Little Bird
Wanderquarium
Leong Wan Kok and pH Khor founders of the 1000tentacles studio based in KL Malaysia helped us design some creatures for a pitch a while back. If you don’t know them check out their work here; www.1000tentacles.com, it’s increadible stuff. Sam has recently adapted one of their comics with the hope of bringing it to life as an animated short. It’s called the Wanderquarium and here’s a sneaky peek at one of the boards.
Morty
In October 2010 we were approached by top agency Dare Vancouver to develop a character for one of their clients MTS. The idea was to reinvent MTS’s company mascot, a Bison, as an animated character that would hopefully appear at the end of some live action spots. Well, we love Morty very much and think its some of our best character work to date and so it seems does everyone else. Animated Morty soon replaced the live action commercials to star (along with side kick Petey) in his very own TV campaign. Just over a year on, he is going from strength to strength. Of course he did not always look this dashing we spent a good few months working closely with creatives Brian and Rob on getting him right for the job. Production development to follow, watch this space!

These are some of his designs for a pitch we worked on that was lost to Mc Bess; this ones name is the double bill fatterpus.
